Roseann Bayne is currently the Assistant Superintendent of CiTi BOCES in Oswego County. Roseann's educational career has spanned over 25 years of teaching and administrative experiences. As a classroom teacher Roseann taught both English and social studies simultaneously to high school students for 13 years. She has been both an elementary school and middle school building administrator and a district-level administrator for over 12 years. During many of her years as an educator, Roseann's practices have focused on understanding more about students by understanding their circumstances and the impact certain circumstances can have on brain development. Currently, Roseann is a certified instructor of Emotional Intelligence and a certified NY State Dignity for All Students Act Trainer. Much of her work centers around understanding the impact of fear, phobia, and trauma on student and adult behaviors. In addition to understanding the impact, Roseann also offers suggestions for interventions that can help both adults and students reach their full potential in spite of negative experiences.
